Who you are dealing with

FonAgent is a product of Fonsoft LLC. These terms cover the fonagent.ai website, the demos on it, and the FonAgent service you sign up for.

What the service is

FonAgent provides AI phone agents that answer and place calls for businesses. An agent picks up your line, answers questions, books appointments, hands calls to your team, and can call a website visitor back.

An agent is software. It can misunderstand a caller, and it is not a substitute for professional advice — medical, legal, financial or otherwise. Set up what your agent may say, and read the transcripts of anything that matters.

Plans and payment

• The Free plan includes 20 minutes of talk time a month. It is a hard cap: there is no overage on it, so it can never produce a bill. A call already in progress is allowed to finish.
• Paid plans are offered on the terms published on the pricing page — the included minutes, the per-minute overage rate and the price of each plan are the ones shown there.

The pricing page is the source of truth for what a plan costs and what it includes.

Cancelling

Either side can end the arrangement. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; a paid plan then runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, rather than stopping mid-month.

Your recordings, transcripts and contacts stay exportable while your workspace is open. Export anything you want to keep before you close it.

Acceptable use

A phone agent can dial real people, so the rules here are short and firm. You may not use FonAgent — an agent, a phone number, or the callback widget — to:

• harass or threaten anyone, or keep calling a number after its owner has asked you to stop;
• place calls that are unlawful where you are, where the person you are calling is, or anywhere else the call touches;
• record a call unlawfully, or record someone who has not been told the call is recorded when the law requires that they are;
• impersonate someone else, or run a scheme designed to mislead the person on the line.

You are responsible for the calls your agent makes and the recordings you keep. Call-recording, consent and telemarketing rules differ by country and by industry, and it is on you to know and follow the ones that apply to your business.

On the demos on this site, enter your own phone number and no one else’s.

If FonAgent is used this way, we can suspend the workspace involved. We would rather write to you first, and normally will.

Your data and your content

Call recordings, transcripts, contacts and the documents your agent answers from belong to your workspace. You can listen to them, search them and export them, and you can ask us to delete them — hello@fonagent.ai. We handle them to run the service for you. How they are handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

Availability

FonAgent is early. The service is provided as is: we do not yet offer a formal uptime guarantee, and we would rather say that plainly than promise a number we have not earned.

We may change, add to, or withdraw parts of the service as it develops. If a change affects something you depend on, we will tell you.

Formal wording on liability — what we are and are not answerable for, and up to what limit — is part of what is still under legal review, and will appear here once it has been through it.

Governing law and disputes

The governing law and the way disputes would be handled are also still under legal review, and will be stated here once settled. In the meantime, if something goes wrong, write to hello@fonagent.ai — most things are faster to fix than to argue about.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, this page changes with them. The date below is the last time it was updated.
